As a designer, I will admit that seeing how quickly AI is moving is a bit unnerving. This is why the more I see it popping up, the more passionate I am about nurturing human connection. And why I strongly believe that no matter how capable AI ends up being in my field, there will always be people looking for human designers.

AI simply cannot compete when it comes to getting to know you, holding space for your vision, and using intuition to create truly soul-led design.

I do not utilize AI in my designs. Period. When you work with me, every section of every page will be thoughtfully and intentionally crafted by my own two hands.

Furthermore, every word written on my website, socials, email newsletter, etc will be written with love by me. Period. I grew up with an English teacher for a mother, so I know how to use em dashes correctly, too — it’s not a sign of AI in my writing, thank you so very much!

That being said, some of my clients do employ AI models to assist in writing their website copy. I do not discriminate or judge! Use the tools that make it possible for you to run your business.

While I do know how to design on many platforms, I work primarily in Squarespace, as it has the best balance that I have found between ease of use and robust features. It is very easy for me to do everything I need to on the backend when setting up your website, designing it, and also updating or expanding it in the future when you need me to. I love the icon version of my logo too, the ampersand. It reminds me that often there is a duality which exists in what we feel, how we act, and how we perceive the world. We can maintain boundaries and be kind. We can be afraid of the unknown and excited for a new chapter. And realizing this helps us truly embrace our emotions fully so that we can hold space for them. It really is beautiful.
